A strong south wind on Saturday helped push the afternoon temperature up to 50 degrees. The day before there were heavy snow squalls all morning and into the afternoon, but the fresh snow withered away today under the combination of high winds, warm temps and sunshine. After lunch i checked the oil in Little Red, turned the key and he started right up. So over the course of two and a half hours i mowed walking trails on the east side of the springs. The photo above is about straight west of the house, looking south. The grass is really thick since it hasn’t been grazed for fifteen months.
