Thursday morning Kenny and his crew poured the five stair-stepped pads of concrete in front of the bathhouse doors. It was hot and windy, causing the concrete to set up fast. But Kenny and his crew–as always–did a good job. We built the forms, hauled in fill material, packed it, and then cut, bent and tied the rebar on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then Thursday afternoon and Friday morning we formed up the connecting walkway between these new bathhouse pads and the “sidewalk” in front of cabins. Friday afternoon we poured that connecting segment so now you can walk on concrete from the house to the farthest bathroom.
