Two years ago this week we were sheathing the roof of the new addition. Travis is sitting on the first sheet of OSB on the southeast corner of the garage roof. Behind him you can see the 2×8 purlins spanning between the trusses. We sawed four notches into the top edge of each of the purlins to allow air to flow from the eve to the ridge.
