Monday, Nov 10 to Sunday, Nov 16, 2014: high 40, low -18

Early Monday morning the unseasonably warm temperatures we’ve enjoyed lately plummeted and this week the temperature has been unseasonably cold. The low Thursday night was 18 degrees below zero! Friday night’s and Saturday’s snow was blown into serpentine-ridged drifts as illustrated by the Saturday afternoon pic above. More snow and bitterly cold temperatures continued Sunday and forecasted into Monday. Looks like our outdoor construction season is essentially over. Time to move indoors and resume work in the library.
