Early Monday morning (1:27am) a trail camera caught these two raccoons heading west to points unknown. This camera has captured images of raccoons, porcupines, and a badger (see Oko 39, 2013). Yet for all the apparent foot traffic, there is little if any naked-eye evidence on the ground that this is a well-traveled path. The images do suggest, however, that the camera should be aimed slightly toward the north in order to better capture images of the travelers. So i will do that and we will see what happens.
