Eight years ago this week (October 7, 2007), things looked a whole lot different here at Wingsprings than they do now. We were building the outside slope of the bathhouse roof, shingling it as well as the inside slope, and nailing on fascia boards. The inner and outer drum wall headers connected the bathhouse to the main house beyond the left edge of the photo above. No concrete walkway. No siding or stucco. No cabins. Today it looks like this:
