This photo is from the archives: 21 December 2012. It was taken three years ago this week on the winter solstice. It illustrates that the winter solstice sunset is essentially on axis with the center of the Wingsprings bay where the two decks have since been built. After they were built, we have not be able to experience this alignment since they block the sightline.
