Friday evening dinner table set for the Teach For America workshop participants who were in residence overnight for a end of year retreat. We enjoyed a fine meal outdoors and then the following afternoon soon after the last of the TFA corps members departed we were surprised by a big bull snake slithering along the wall of the south porch! Right beside the door to the house! He caused a lot of excitement. In the end, Corey used a pitchfork to carry him to the tall grass where we released him and asked him to not come back and startle us any more.
