We worked on a new garden retaining wall this week. Friday Corey (above right, splitting a cap block) and Jeremy (above left, getting ready to set a block) finished setting the blocks. We will let the dirt settle a while before installing the cap blocks. Building the wall meant the end to this year’s garden. It did produce some tomatoes, a few beans, green peppers, carrots and chives. The rabbits really enjoyed grazing in the garden–even after we installed the rabbit-proof fence! They are little rascals. The plan is to build a second terraced garden plot to the west or left of this one, and perhaps even a third and fourth plot as well.
