Yesterday Tyler, Corey, Jeramie and i hosted twenty TFA teachers for an all-day workshop. Even though the outdoor temperature was in the single digits and it snowed lightly all day, the teachers drove in from Standing Rock, Rosebud and Pine Ridge reservations. In the photo above they are working on activity planning for their classrooms that incorporates Oceti Sakowin and Lakota information. At lunch we rearranged the tables into one long arc and enjoyed chili, rolls, brownies and ice cream.

Then late afternoon everyone started their cars and departed and Wingsprings was again back to its quiet self for a below-zero night.
