Wednesday morning Corey and Jeramie dug a path to connect the dead ends of two trails. The hillside between the trail ends was too sidling for the mower, but now they have notched a passageway into the slope that is wide enough for the mower as well as the side-by-side. Doing so certainly created a scar, but it wont be too long before the natural grasses and other ground cover take root and reclaim the land. The dead ends were just 40 feet or so apart (as you can see in the photo below), but because they were unconnected it meant about a quarter-mile backtracking to the north on the mower.
