About half of the participants in the Lakota Lands & Identities traveling classroom, sponsored by Regional Health, are shown above eating lunch in the shade Friday. It was hot and windy, but almost everyone was able to eat in the shade. Just before departing to return to Rapid City, participants were treated to cake and ice cream to celebrate the anniversary of two participants, and the birthday of another. Below is a picture of the bus/classroom on its way to the gate and beyond. Just to the right of center is the windsock indicating a pretty stiff breeze.
