Oko Wikemna Zaptan ake Yamni

This is the final week of the current Wingsprings year. It has been rather tumultuous weather-wise. Sunny with an unseasonable high of 72 degrees on Tuesday, then a blowing snow storm Thursday with a low of zero degrees early yesterday morning. The picture above was taken this afternoon north of the Turtle Pond. Its a little nest full of snow in a brush thicket. I wonder if the birds who built it will return this spring to hatch their eggs?
