Monday, Apr 10 to Sunday, Apr 16, 2017: high 80, low 31

Walked to the trail camera and installed new batteries Saturday afternoon. On the way back, this doe in the picture above jumped up and startled me, but she didn’t run away. Instead, she stopped and stood watching me as i fumbled with my camera. Before long she moved away. Later from the house i watched her off and on for a long time after she returned. She walked around and around in the flat before where she is standing; must have a young one or two bedded down in the area? Maybe the trail camera will catch an answering image this next week.
