Oko Ake Nunpa

Monday, May 15 to Sunday, May 21, 2017: high 76, low 32

Two elk bulls! This is the first instance of catching them on film here at Wingsprings. So even though this picture was taken by the trail camera on the 13th, its included in this week’s oko iyawapi because i just got the pictures downloaded from the camera. Coincidentally, i found the camera on the ground instead of fastened to the tree trunk where it had been for years. Not sure if it fell or was knocked down.
