Over 40 participants, and nearly ten staff, enjoyed lunch here on Friday. They were part of the Lakota Lands & Identities “workshop on wheels,” a 5-day seminar that travels to important sites in Lakota history. The seminar is organized by CAIRNS, and this offering was hosted by Regional Health, headquartered in Rapid City. Friday was the fifth and final day. After this photo, they boarded the motor coach, and between here and the very small town of Long Valley, took a comprehensive assessment that judged their knowledge of Lakota history and culture.
