Dan and i worked on excavating the quilt on Tuesday that Andrea and Francine created for the Takuwe exhibit. It had been buried since August. Now it was frozen in place. So we used the diesel heater, run by Dan’s generator, to thaw the ground. It was a slow and tedious process, and at the end of the day we still did not have it removed.
