Tuesday was warm and the snow really melted. But because the frost is still in the ground, the water cannot soak in and therefore runs on the surface, making the low area connecting the springs wild with water like a fast-running river. The photo above was taken after 5pm. Then a blizzard blew in the next morning and continued into Thursday morning, as shown in the 7am photo below, that was taken Thursday morning.
