Was a day late this year. Instead of Thursday the 19th, Dad’s birthday, it was Friday afternoon when i finally got the new windsock installed. It is the fifth windsock. The first one was hung when we set the post and attached the hardware in 2016. Then annually on or near Dad’s birthday we replace the windsock with a new one. It is always so colorfully bright when new, but the fading effect of sun and weather soon dulls it.
