Monday afternoon the last tipi poles were hauled away from the wicoti. The roll cage of the side-by-side served as a good rack for transporting the poles to up by the hangar. The wood platforms in the wicoti that were the floors of the four tipis and two wall tents are rotting and need to be removed. Going forward, because of the time required to set up these lodges and to maintain them while erected, there will be fewer opportunities to set them up. Hopefully we can haul away the platforms before next summer.
