It was windy Thursday afternoon when Shawnta, cousin Katie, and Dallas (R-L) were getting ready to return to their Thunder Valley CDC offices. They arrived mid-morning for a tour of Wingsprings and a discussion of its design principles, then over lunch we discussed some of the educational resources that CAIRNS has produced. I tried to recreate Mom’s chicken salad recipe, but something was missing. The sandwichs were made on fresh home-baked bread.
