The picture above was taken from the cockpit at 7:22 Wednesday evening as the sun was setting beyond the western horizon. In the foreground is the roof ridge which is on the Wingsprings west-east axis. Also on that axis is the Butte, which can barely be seen on the horizon in the glow of the sun. Because the sun is setting on the axis, Wednesday was Wingsprings Sunset Day.
